Entomological Society of America "Entomology 2024" meeting

We've submitted abstracts and plan to participate in the Entomological Society of America's Entomology 2024 conference in Phoneix, AZ, this fall to connect with new audiences as we continue development of our CRISPR screening platform for screens in additional species, including mosquito disease vectors and crop pests. We went from 0 CRISPR screens in fly cells to ~50 in just a few years together with collaborators, and similarly have recently gone from 0 to >12 CRISPR screens together with collaborators using our Anopheles mosquito screening platform. Full development of CRISPR cell screening for additional insect species will help Aedes mosquito researchers and others break new group with genome-wide genetic screening in species of high human health relevance and food security interest.
